Homemade Italian salad dressing is full of zest, making it the perfect dressing for salad or to use as a marinade. It is so easy to make you will never want to buy store-bought again!
Homemade Italian salad dressing is a great marinade for chicken or steak. Simply marinade your meat of choice for several hours to overnight, drain marinade and cook over a hot grill. The fresh herbs give it a great flavor! I love using it in Jaden’s Spicy Black-eyed Pea salad as well as gluten free pasta salad. Of course, it’s delicious on a simple garden salad.
Once you try this easy gluten free dressing you will never want store-bought again! Personally, I feel salad dressing is one of the easiest things to make. I make my own because its cheaper and healthier. Most, if not all, salad dressings are made with soybean oil. It’s so nice to sit down to a meal and know exactly what ingredients I am eating. It leaves little to no room for surprises and I am way okay with that!
